That stupid Head24.exe is a sob. If you ever see it on your operating system get rid of it ASAP! Its a horrible thing to have. Shuts you out of all internet completely and is a pain to get rid of! But i shall get rid of it! Stupid pos!

Easy solution. Get into safe mode. Do a search for Head24.exe. Delete all Head24.exe files or files with that somewhere in the name. Go into your Windows Registry. WARNING: DON'T BE A NOOB. Search for any entries with Head24.exe in them. Delete them, don't screw around with anything else.

Go to msconfig and turn it off there as well if it exists. If you did everything right... your problem should be gone.

To prevent it from happening again. Don't forward every single port on your router(Personal experience on that). Don't download everything from everywhere, and have Adaware and a free antivirus ready to go.

Tried that d4. We couldnt find any of them. But somehow we got the internet back. Dont know if its permanent or not, but its back. We still dont have our task manager though.

You have an antivirus? or can it not remove it? otherwise avg or a free norton trial (comes with the google toolbar now) could do the trick

I have an antivirus but its a trojan virus so it takes a little more to remove it.
